Would much rather control entirely with the mouse, or have that as an option. Also, the music gets annoying after a few minutes as you progress through the rounds. Not much in terms of obstacles, which would be great to have as a challenge. The only thing that I can give you props to is the character animation when he's spinning out of water :|

This is a complete rip-off of Gyruss >:| No twist or spin to this game made from the original, aside from the different enemy skins and the player. Nothing new and shows lack of effort.

Duh? :P I mean, it says it RIGHT THERE in the Author's comments. I happen to be a fan of the game on the NES and wanted to loosely emulate it for a concept piece for my campaign.

Are you like the Simpson's Phony guy? "HEY GUYS, THIS GUY IS A PHONY, A BIG FAT PHONY!".

Before you criticize a game maker's 'efforts', make one yourself, then come back here and say it 'Lacks Effort'. You'll find out you're horribly mistaken.

The claim it's not 'Original' is correct however. But it's already obvious.

I really like how simple yet complex your game can get, even in a short matter of time. Giving the player options to choose their own strategy in a TD title is often difficult to pull off, but I believe you handled this well. Sure, the game is short, but that doesn't make it a bad thing. What would be great is if you could port this over to iOS and/or Android :)

Thanks. Very positive comment =)

Hey, bro! I totally did it! :) iOS & Android version is done:

I like the unique take on this spin of Asteroids, from the music down to the change of difficulty. The turning controls are a bit sensitive, but not too much of a problem. What I recommend is using the points or a another system of currency for time sensitive upgrades (i.e. space turrets that last for 2 rounds). Also, more variety in enemies would help make full use of the controls. For example, having a "space" centipede that curls around the planet within a reasonable radius, firing at the player.

Other than that, I did enjoy this game and hope to see more! :D

I absolutely love the simplicity mixed with the overall atmosphere that you have created. No real issues other than wanting more :)

I understand (or imagine) what you and the rest of the team were trying to accomplish, and it was done in a retro style way with both controls and "feel" (that being music, art style). What I don't like is how you just throw the player right into the game with no explanation of how to control your character. Sure, the story is kinda cute, but at least put in some effort on trying to make it match the rest of the art style in-game.

Here's what I have so far:

The good-
Variety of weapons
Player design
Controls
Music

The bad-
Starting weapon is the only weapon I used to "beat" the game. Needs to be toned down.
The background design needs to not have the player and enemies blend or rather, hurt the eyes.
Needs more variety when it comes to enemy design
Needs big bosses
Go more in-depth the the control layout and usage of it while playing (i.e. player must move around in a boss while shooting at its' weak point(s)).
Overall UI needs a touch up.

Other than that, I really do hope to see more :)

Best thing I can give you props to is the music and some what of the art. The game is NOT user friendly and the tutorial doesn't help much to explain the game mechanics.

Love the art style, but it's really how simple yet sadistic the puzzles can get later on that really kept me going. Great job!

At first I thought "Eh, just another shooter..." but I was obviously dead wrong. I can appreciate simplicity when used properly, and you did a really good job doing just that with this game. Wish it was on mobile :P
