The VO was a nice touch, but not needed. The audio quality was distracting and instead of adding value, it took that away.

The animations were decent and did bring more "life" to this game, so keep working on that :)

The intro was too long. Cut that in half and you should be able to keep the player's attention.

Overall, it's a decent game with much more to offer if you polish it some more.

Good job :)

AnnTenna responds:

Thanks for the feedback and for the votes! I am upset that voice and sound turned out worse than I wanted. We tried very hard. You can skip intro through the pink button.

Great job! Absolutely love the simplistic art style with the mix of difficulty. Would buy if it were on the Kindle Fire or Steam ;)

squidly responds:

Would be cool if it was on the Kindle or Steam, but I'm not sure if either support AS2!

Love the originality and art style :)

However, I do have an issue with the VO's and punctuation... But those are minor compared to the amount of effort and creativity involved in this game. Would love to see it on Steam ;)

Kooh responds:

My dream is for Desutori to reach Steam, but I've always wanted try to put it up on a few indie stores, if enough people like it. (Wouldn't be the same version of course, maybe an HD remix with at least 2 more worlds).

This is a complete rip-off of Gyruss >:| No twist or spin to this game made from the original, aside from the different enemy skins and the player. Nothing new and shows lack of effort.

Stripetail-Studio responds:

Duh? :P I mean, it says it RIGHT THERE in the Author's comments. I happen to be a fan of the game on the NES and wanted to loosely emulate it for a concept piece for my campaign.

Are you like the Simpson's Phony guy? "HEY GUYS, THIS GUY IS A PHONY, A BIG FAT PHONY!".

Before you criticize a game maker's 'efforts', make one yourself, then come back here and say it 'Lacks Effort'. You'll find out you're horribly mistaken.

The claim it's not 'Original' is correct however. But it's already obvious.

I really like how simple yet complex your game can get, even in a short matter of time. Giving the player options to choose their own strategy in a TD title is often difficult to pull off, but I believe you handled this well. Sure, the game is short, but that doesn't make it a bad thing. What would be great is if you could port this over to iOS and/or Android :)

ArgonIlya responds:

Thanks. Very positive comment =)
